My Project

I have 15 very inquisitive 4 and 5 year olds. In the next few weeks we will be starting a study on balls followed by a study on reduce, reuse, recycle. I have asked for several books with the theme of balls. They love when I read to them, however the classroom is short on books about balls. I would enjoy using the flying orb to exposre the children to a differnt type of ball and teach them how it works

Young children generate a lot of trash.

We love to recycle items in our classroom and we have plenty. I would love to make art projects with some of these materials. I want to get the recycling truck to show how it is used on a trash pickup. They would love to play with the truck. We would love to have the book that helps us use recycling materials to make memorable art projects.

With the recycling study done during spring the containers and seeds would allow the students to plant their own wildflowers. We would be able to use compost for fertilizer and watch them grow.
