My Project

I am a high school yoga teacher. In my elective class, Yoga for Wellness, I teach students how to use yoga to improve their physical and mental health. I also teach yoga classes for our school's student athletes to help them recover and prevent future injuries.

In the recovery yoga sessions, students use foam rollers to relieve muscle soreness and tension.

We do special exercises for the lower body to increase student's mobility and flexibility and to prevent injuries.

We have all of the basic yoga equipment - like mats and blocks. We would like to add specialized equipment like percussive devices and other special recovery tools.
