Help me give my students a new learning experience. Our after school program is starting a recording studio club.

My Project

Our school has an after-school program that is attended by 80-100 students. This program gives students something to do after school other than screen time or getting into trouble. Our school is a Title 1 school, meaning over 75% of our students are at or below the poverty level. We would like to provide this opportunity to our students for numerous reasons.

This recording studio will help with literacy skills, collaboration, communication, and responsibility.

Students will also have to maintain a certain GPA to be able to participate in this club due to the anticipate demand, which will hopefully increase student ownership and engagement in their schoolwork. Since COVID, finding ways to get students to be active and involved in school is important for engagement and attendance. We feel like our after-school program is important for mental health, school engagement, and school pride. We have an employee who has donated most of the other equipment and is going to donate his time to help with the after-school program, but we would appreciate any help to completing this studio for our school.
