Recording Equipment for Performances

Help me give my students a camcorder, tripod and carrying bad to show them high quality recordings of performances and rehearsals that will aid in reflecting on performances and promoting the program.

My Project

While I am able to provide daily feedback on how students are progressing and growing as musicians, they also benefit greatly from listening to themselves rehearse and perform. This project is designed to help with providing valuable feedback during class rehearsals but also to create a library of our performances so the students and their families can view them again and again.

This high-quality camcorder and accessories will allow me to make great video recordings to be shared on the DRMS Music youtube channel to be enjoyed for years to come.

These recordings will not only be valuable for current students but future students as well. Incoming 5th graders will be able to see and listen to what the beginning band and orchestra are able to accomplish in their first year.
