Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a playground but lack any playground equipment. My students just don't have the same excitement for recess as they did in the past. I want them to feel excited to go to recess again! The Toss and catch games will improve hand-eye coordination and develop arm muscles. The Stomp and Catch Board will help them learn to catch. I would like them to enjoy exercise and hopefully gain an understanding of how staying healthy and exercising can have a positive impact on their lives.

Above all, I want them to have fun!

With new playground equipment, we will be able to enhance our P.E. standards, work on building good sportsmanship and help redirect students' interests into something more productive.
