Our school is proud to have a racially and economically diverse student body. Our students engage in personalized learning so no student is ever left behind and every student can be pushed to reach their fullest potential. At our school, we replace boring lectures with engaging projects and controlling adults with personal coaches who teach students how to manage their own schedule, behavior, and work habits. We know that children learn through practice, so students practice navigating the choices of the real world within a safe, structured school environment.
Our students are self-aware freethinkers who are working to become leaders of their own selves and their communities.
They are curious about the world around them and ask thought-provoking questions. They are bright, hard-working, and deserve the absolute best education experience.
My Project
Students are beginning the year at a brand new school. We have a blacktop and fence, but unfortunately don't have the equipment necessary for any organized sports. Basketball is a really important game in the Saint Louis community and all students should have the opportunity to play in school. This basketball hoop will be a way for them to socialize with one another and build a strong Kairos community!
Research shows that students who engage in play have significantly better learning outcomes.
Students with diverse needs will be able to better manage their own learning by having an outlet for excess energy.
