My Project

After 8 years in an instructional leadership position, I am returning to my true passion! I will be teaching an amazing group of second grade students this year, and I want to have a variety of resources to help all students be successful with their learning. Good teachers know, and research proves, that movement and exercise are critical to the balance between brain, body, and behavior. Both indoor and outdoor recess are a critical part of the instructional day. It allows students to interact with their peers, learn to get along, solve problems, take turns, and many other crucial social emotional life skills. My students will benefit from having access to a variety of options during recess time. I believe that students deserve a whole child approach to learning, and would love your help providing them with options for recess!
