Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from all different kinds of backgrounds, families, and cultures. They make mistakes and learn and grow from them. Some students have trouble making friends. Some students have a lot going on at home and playing with their friends outside is hard sometimes. With a rec room and upgrades to our tier II intervention room, we will be able to make more students feel safe and welcomed on campus and at school.

These TVs and mounts will be able to create a safe place for all students to feel welcomed and belong to.

It will also offer students an incentive with movies or video games for kids to earn or make connections with other peers.

This project will also be able to build connections with peers and other students on campus. My students want to be able to help others who are sad, depressed, or going through a tough time. They suggested we build a room on campus that offers students fun activities to be a kid and have someone to talk with.

My students love school and being here, being able to offer something they can have an interest in and feel connected to with other students on campus.
