it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious, ambitious, and full of wonder about the universe around them. Many come from under-resourced backgrounds but bring a wealth of passion and creativity to the classroom every day. They ask big questions and dream of careers in engineering, astrophysics, and beyond.
This year, we are bringing astronomy back to our school for the first time in years, and my students are eager to explore the cosmos.
To rebuild our astronomy course from the ground up, I’m requesting Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift cards so I can access high-quality, peer-reviewed curriculum resources, labs, and engaging projects aligned with current standards. These materials will allow me to create a robust, inquiry-based learning environment from day one.
