This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 6th grade students are smart, hilarious, kind, and resilient. From the Pandemic to community gun violence, they have overcome myriad challenges and still manage to make me laugh every day.

As we head into the home stretch of the school year, my students need computer chargers, headphones, and snacks to power up their learning through June.

Many of my students have lost or broken their chargers and cannot afford to replace them. I am also asking for headphones to help my students with IEPs access audio versions of our texts. Lastly, I would like to have snacks on hand to provide to hungry students so they can feel energized and ready to learn.
