Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are an extremely sweet group of children. They have the determination and drive to be truly successful. However, the majority of my class comes from low income families. Their parents are working multiple jobs and have very little time or resources to help their children at home. My students want to learn but need additional practice with the skills they are struggling with. Student's parents are unable to afford tutoring for their child so it is up to me to provide them with the best resources available. Please help me to provide my very best for this great bunch of kids.

My Project

My students this year are struggling with Reading and Language skills. The Daily Comprehension resource will provide my students with additional resources to use both at home and in school to reinforce the standards taught. The Sight Word book will allow extra practice on the high frequency words students are required to memorize. My students will benefit greatly from the engaging activities in the 180 days of Language resource. With your help my students will have mastered the basic Reading and Language skills needed to become great readers and will be able to apply grammar skills correctly when writing or communicating with others.
