Fun, energetic, kind, and optimistic are just a few words to describe my East Atlanta scholars! My students love to learn about themselves and the world around them. Scholars in my class are some of the most talented kids Atlanta has to offer! Not only are they the brightest kids ever, but they also care deeply about others!
My students aspire to be great!
They don't mind working hard to prove that they can accomplish ANY goal. We set goals to reach quarterly reading targets, goals to learn new skills, as well as goals to reflect and improve our school and community.
My students love to play! Like most kids, recess is one of their favorite times of the day. They absolutely love using their imagination to make up creative games that allow them to have fun while also taking advantage of fresh air and exercise. The assortment of balls, cones, and other materials in this project will allow my students more opportunities to collaborate and expand the way they play. They will be able to recycle traditional games that kids enjoy as well as develop their own creative play ideas.
During recess, kids use play to actively problem solve as well as build meaningful relationships with their peers.
Recess play is priceless and the countless benefits of play undoubtedly help our kids learn and grow even more!
