My Project

First grade is tough. My scholars are just learning how to read, write, add, subtract, and socialize. For many of my students, this is the first time they are in school or leaving their homes. It's a huge stepping stone for them.

Learning so much can be impossible if you don't have what you need.

Many students come to school without breakfast, or their growing bodies get hungry in the afternoon. A lot of my former students are also hungry if they miss breakfast or don't have any snacks at home. Students are also growing so fast and playing so much, that they often grow out of their uniform clothes or get them dirty. No child should have to feel stressed over being hungry or not having a clean uniform to wear. Being able to have these items in my classroom are such a blessing. Thank you for any help in keeping my classroom stocked!
