My Project

Thank you for your consideration in helping to fund art supplies for the students at our school. These supplies will make all the difference in providing a robust enrichment experience for each learner. As an art teacher, social and emotional well-being and growth are paramount in my classroom. Students feel empowered to express their ideas and feelings through art, they even have an art mood meter to check in with how they’re feeling each day. My goal is to keep providing this safe space for them to explore their ideas and feelings through new and exciting enrichment art lessons. We can do this with the extra watercolor paints and paper, by using model magic for sculpture exploration and metallic markers to jazz up their creations! All these supplies will excite my learners and keep their creative juices flowing while at the same time meeting their emoticons needs. Our watercolor trays right now are down to the bottom and they would be so very excited to see fresh palettes for fresh ideas! As we start the 2nd half of the year we also have so many upcoming units including Black heritage projects, as well as science and math connections to the classrooms, that only with the help of extra supplies we can make these projects our best yet! Thank you again for your help and generosity in making amazing art opportunities possible!
