I am very blessed to work at a K-8 school. Our school is located in a rural area of Pitt county. This school is special because I’m able to create relationships with my students and see them until they graduate from middle school.
My students are very inquisitive.
Their unique personalities contribute to the excitement of teaching and learning. They love hands-on projects and collaborating with their peers. My students are eager to come to school every day to challenge their learning. Our daily schedule is packed with collaboration and critical thinking by participating in STEM labs, literature circles, math groups, writing, and critical thinking.
My Project
My students love to code on the computer during their Friday Computer Class. I would love to bring a variety of robots to our classroom to continue their love of coding in a different format. These interactive robots will also allow students to learn sequencing skills and review our force and motion standard.
Robots are a wonderful interactive learning tool that engages all students.
These robots would be a great asset to our classroom. The robots will teach my students the basics of coding through active play, and completely screen free. They will teach my students critical thinking skills and problem solving skills.
