Mrs. W. from OH is requesting instructional technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
See what Mrs. W. is requestingMy students need to learn more coding, and the Makeblock mBot DIY robot kits are one of the best tools for such hands-on coding learning! These Makeblock add-on kits will also further enhance this learning.

My future STEM leaders, are working hard to become Living Legends and not Hidden Figures. Inspired by the movie Hidden FIgures, our school and students have taken a pledge to work on STEM development, and they are doing this with the utmost energy. Our students live in a high-poverty area in the heart of Cincinnati, but they are not letting that stop their efforts to develop their STEM skills. You can see them stand prouder when they dawn their lab coats for the Science and STEM classes! Most of my students come from high-poverty homes and oftentimes families that are struggling to just survive. DonorsChoose will be giving these students a chance to rise above the environment that surrounds them!
Our school became a STEM school this year and one area we have not been able to spend as much time on yet this year is coding.
The Makeblock DIY mBot robot kit is one of the most rugged robotics that also teaches coding that we have found that best suits our school electronics requirements.
Therefore, we are desiring several mBot robot kits to allow our students to not only experience coding but to also have hands-on experience building their robots. The Makeblock mBot is a great fit because the coding is taught via the highly universal Scratch platform through a program that is downloadable, so the coding instruction and guidance does not require an application as so many robotics and coding programs do. The ruggedness of the mBot is highly sought in the educational field and in our school where over 160 students will eventually have experience with the mBOTs, as we plan to incorporate them in our 4th thru 6th grade STEM programs and our STEAM Club.
Please know that by donating to our coding and robotics educational programs you are providing our students a foundation in areas that they have been underserved in previously!
