Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are ABLE! They are unique and excited about learning. They are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box. They come to school each day ready to try new things and they inspire me every day.
Their unique personalities make my classroom fun and exciting.
They are eager to try new things and engage in fun hands-on activities.
When they say students with disabilities can not do this or that, that's only because they have never met my class. These students on the Autism Spectrum are inquisitive and always up for a challenge. Whether it's on the court, on the field, in the class or in the community, they love learning.
My Project
My students need a color printer to help us bring our creations to life. With a printer and supplies for the printer, we will enhance learning and create colorful masterpieces that the students can bring to life. We need color in our class because most students with disabilities are visual learners and by using a color printer they can relate things printed in color to real life.
