Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A recent statistic stated that 75% of people have a fear of speaking in public. Equipping my students with this vital skill will help them in their academic careers as well as whatever career they choose after high school. Learning to speak in front of others will give them the confidence they need to go on interviews, advocate for themselves, and pursue leadership roles in their school and careers.

Using a podium helps students feel less exposed, and the document reader will help give them a focal point while delivering their presentations.

In addition, the document camera will allow students to present and annotate text to show understanding while continuing to practice their speaking skills.
