Ready... Set... Action! In Need of New Sound System

Help me give my students a box speaker, microphones, a wagon and other supplies to create a portable sound system they can use to put on plays, assemblies, and during whole school events like the walk-a-thon, Pride parade, and Juneteenth celebrations.

My Project

Another hat I wear at my school is after school theater director. I work with 28 students in grades TK-5th Grade to put on a play twice a year. Since this is an after school class, we are in need of a portable sound system so that our actors can rehearse their lines and choreography in any space we are assigned in the school.

Kids thrive when they take the stage.

In our theater classes we empower students to take risks as they build community and express themselves. This new sound system with speakers and microphones will allow us to dance as we play theater and music games and rehearse for our performance.

On top to directing, I help facilitate school-wide events and assemblies. This new sound system will benefit all 400 students at our school as they will all be able to participate in school wide dance parties and musical activities. These supplies will help spread the joy and community at our school. Thank you for considering donating to this project.
