Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am the Esports coach on our campus. I teach Robotics, AP Physics, Video Game Design, and AP Computer Science Principles this year. We are building a new eSports and Computer Science room, which means we have many needs and can't move into the new room until those needs are met.

I attended the Game Developers Conference this week, and these haptic suits were displayed.

VR gaming will increase student immersion in virtual reality by providing haptic feedback during the user experience. This helps make the experience come alive to the student. This will increase engagement in computer science and improve student incentives with gaming, ultimately improving student mental health. Since this uses VR and encourages the players to move around, this will also help strengthen my eSports players' fitness.
