My Students

My students are eager to learn and love being able to do their research using technology. There are 32 students in my class. The majority are boys. Keeping them motivated and excited about learning can be challenging at best. Using Chromebooks for projects, playing review games or even typing their writing, gets them excited to complete their work.

My Project

The magnetic white boards and letters with help those students that have gaps because of school going online. Being able to work on phonics lessons with them will be truly beneficial.

I also love to read novels as a class together, if each student had a copy to the book to follow along, it helps improve their reading in many ways.

The phonics book is a resource I can use to plan lessons to help those struggling with phonics. As a 4th grade teacher we have never had to teach phonics before, but because of online learning, many students have gaps in that area. I would love to be able to work with them to help fill those gaps.
