My Project

These books will enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. my scholars will be studying these books so that they are exposed to a diverse literature with diverse messages. The books have been chosen to explore different genres that they will be able to connect with through characters and adventures.

Engaging scholars is being able to encourage scholars to pick up a book.

Whether fiction or nonfiction, scholars need to envision themselves in the text. Could they be the next person that future generations read about? Do they believe they are "unnamed" in a dystopia world because of their lifestyles? No matter whether it's present day or their dreams of the future, my scholars need to explore the adventure that authors take them through. If only to build their imagination and creativity, they are still learning to enjoy reading.

I have read the books and know that my scholars will be able to identify with the characters and situations. They need to be able to apply all the literature genres with current events and that is what these books are able to do.
