Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Every year my students come to me bright-eyed and we start learning about each other and the world around us. The classroom is brightly colored and students are eager to learn. In the mornings the students get breakfast in the classroom and at lunch, their lunch gets brought to the classroom. All of my students receive free lunch and breakfast.
This is the first year of schooling for many of my students, and it is wonderful to see their progression between September and June.
There are many challenges ahead of us in the school year but we can do it together. My students are full of excitement and questions. From breakfast to nap to our good bye song we have fun all day long.
My Project
Apple creates such a great platform for students to work on. With their recent release of the new platform, education technology is made even easier. The students love to learn about technology and I want them to be able to use it.
My students love to use technology and play, now we can combine the two.
Hopefully, with the requested Mac computer, my students will have a chance to create little videos (with my help) of them doing fun things. The students love to watch themselves. I think it would be amazing if they read stories and we could record them for the class. Then at the end of the year we can watch their growth.
