Reading WHILE Listening!

Help me give my students audiobooks so they are able to listen while they are reading and the simple machines set to let their brains do creative work.

My Students

I love that my students are hard-working and want to succeed. My students want to be in the regular education classroom; they WANT to be around their peers. My students have a unique way of learning and thinking.

They most feel at home in my classroom because it is small and they are able to be themselves in my room.I love that I can provide them a place where they can be themselves and an environment to learn in.

My Project

Special education students not only struggle in reading but in other subjects as well. Helping them become a better reader can help their other subjects.

Being able to listen to a book while reading along can help the student become more fluent and even like reading!

Having the theraputty can help some of my students calm down when feeling frustrated. Instead of crushing their paper or getting frustrated with myself or a peer they will have the theraputty to squeeze and let their frustration out!

The simple machines are tools my students can use to learn hands-on and use their creativity. Special education students have a unique way of learning and thinking; to have this awesome tool for them, they would love it and be able to express their creativity!
