Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a reading intervention teacher who works with students in Kinder-2nd grade who are currently reading below grade level. They are wonderful students who need extra practice reading out loud in a safe and inviting environment.

My students enjoying reading to their mini plushies during class time and at home.

As an incentive, I allow my students to pick out a mini plushie, also called "a reading buddy," to name and read to. I would appreciate your consideration in fulfilling my worthwhile project and bring these buddies to my students to enhance our classroom environment.
