This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach full day kindergarten in a Title I school. My class is full of bright, kindhearted 5 and 6 year olds ready to learn and build foundational skills. We strive daily to do our best by working around our 2 mottos "Work Hard, Be Kind" and "Don't Forget to Be Awesome Today!" We set high goals and celebrate our success, no matter how big or small. My students are encouraged to be their best and know they are well-loved every single day they walk into my classroom.

My Project

Morestarfall.com is an amazing site for young emergent readers to be able to learn basic reading skills through fun, interactive and engaging games and songs.

Morestarfall.com allows students access to letter names, letter sounds, phonics, word blending, sight words, word reading, reading, and books.

It also allows the students to access math games to help concentrate on numbers, counting, number sense, colors, calendar skills, and life skills.

Students love working on Morestarfall and is a great extension for fast finishers or for a intervention for students who still need to practice simple skills.

As a teacher, I also gain access to worksheet templates that help my students with handwriting, sight word practice, homework, paper books, fun/interactive color pages, number practice and math strategies.

I would love to have this classroom membership to allow each and every student tablet to have access to morestarfall.com.
