My students need these books to help them learn and develop their reading skills. These books are a learning resource that is engaging and provides visual cues for my students with Autism and visual learners.
I teach at a school where there are only about 250 students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. I service students who have special needs from Kindergarten to High School. There are times in my classroom where there will be 10 students in 4 different grades doing up to 6 different things and I am set in my ways to help them all!
The students in my classroom all have a disability that makes it harder for them to learn than their peers.
For this reason, the require special materials and instructions in order for them to catch up and meet grade level requirements.
My Project
These Explode the Code books with help my students as they learn and grow as readers. I have used the first 3 books of this collection with my Kindergarten students and they have excelled exponentially! They love these books and I would love to be able to have them continue learning reading skills through these books.
These books are engaging, perfect for struggling learners, and will follow my readers from the time they are in Kindergarten to the time when they have fully mastered their reading skills!
These are perfect for my classroom since I will have all my students every year and will be able to watch them master book after book and become successful readers. These books will also help the students that are not in special education but need tutoring in reading.
