My Students

My students are kind, thoughtful, and full of many amazing wonder! They love to learn and work in our collaborative environment. We are located in Pleasanton, California and have an enthusiasm and excitement for learning that reminds me of being in 5th grade! I am proud to have a great community of diverse learnings.

My goal is to create excited readers and help build confidence when discussing the texts given to them.

They are a great group of students who are flexible and willing to try anything new. I am proud of their hard work and want to supply some fun learning activities for them to experience.

My Project

The books and activities in this requested ETA hand2mind VersaTiles Literacy kit will help all students in my classroom. We can have time to work on our reading comprehension skills if needed, work on the author's purpose, or help build strong readers by teaching the important skill of inferring. Some students need to be challenged and others need help getting to grade level.

The multiple activities and levels in this skills practice system can help me differentiate learning in my classroom.

With thirty-three students at all levels, it can be a challenge! The Versa Tile system is a fun way to get students excited and help them practice these important skills. They will be able to work on particular skills and see their progress with the tiles creating a picture as they work.

I have seen how helping a student build their reading skills has directly affected their confidence and helped them succeed!
