My Students

As a teacher who is a creative thinker, I want to instill that creativeness in my scholars. Every morning, I greet each kiddo with "our class handshake" that they created and voted on, and let them know they are valued and respected in my haven.

There are 498 students in K-5 at our growing elementary school.

Class sizes are large and continue to increase with the increasing influx of students in our district. There are 25 kids in my class. My students are from various ethnicities, backgrounds, and cultures.

As a professional I want to continue my education and learn to impact my students and set them up for success.

My Project

The flexible seating I am requesting are an option my scholars would love to have in our classrooms. These seats would be the seat of choice during book clubs, discussions and other times to work together or during independent work. All in all, my kiddos would have the choice and flexible options to choose what seat is most comfortable and relaxing for their education. With the everyday stress and anxiety my kids endure, my classroom is their haven and second home!
