My Students
This year, I have a wide range of students. Most of my students are Native American. Some are eager to learn, and others will need that extra push to succeed. The children seem to work really well together and encourage each other.
I believe that all students can and will learn. They just need to be nurtured and encouraged to succeed. Some just need to know that they are loved and can achieve their goals, as long as they don't quit, and never give up.
My Project
I am wanting to redo our reading area in our classroom and my students will need a rug for seating. Currently, I have a floor seating but not a rug and the floor is getting scratched from the chairs. This rug will allow my students a place for my students to sit without having for use a seat.
Reading is a very important part of first grade and I believe this reading area will help my students improve. If student are comfortable in their classroom they will become successful in their learning.
