My Students

"Can I be president?" "How do you become president?" These are some of the questions that come up after reading an article about the presidential elections.

I work with some of the brightest and most talented second graders.

They love to be challenged and are really great at articulating their thinking.

I teach a diverse population of students from around the world. They come to me ready and eager to learn new and exciting things. It is inspiring to be their teacher.

My Project

In the process of setting up the classroom for the new school year, I noticed that the classroom library area is lacking something. In order for students to want to engage in reading, I need to provide an inviting space for students. A rug is just the ticket!!

Our classroom library is bare and needs just the right touch to make it inviting for all students.

They need a comfortable place where they can choose books, a place where they can sit and read their favorite stories. All we need to make it happen is a new rug and a couple of pillows.
