My Project

I would like reading rods, timers, and flashcards for my classroom. These materials will help my students build the literacy skills that are needed to become fluent readers. The sets included a guide that will be useful when I have extra support in my classroom. The specific skills that I will focus on are: CVC words, letters, phonemic awareness, and sight words. I would also like to keep my students on task using large timers that will be beneficial when they are working independently.

These multisensory tools help students practice several kindergarten skills that should be mastered by the end of the school year!
