My Project

I teach reading and literacy skills to students of all abilities. Many students have different accommodations and needs in order to be successful in the English language arts classroom. Many of my students are also English language learners. It can be easy for these students to feel discouraged because reading can be very challenging for them.

The Jolly Ranchers, Lifesavers, and Now and Laters will be used as incentives for my students as they make good choices in the classroom.

Reading for many of my students is quite taxing and takes a lot of stamina. I use a positive behavior incentive system. I believe in rewarding students who stay engaged and willing to work hard. Having these incentives available will make this possible.
