Reading Readiness

Help me give my students items that assist them in learning letter sounds and reading words. We need phonics tiles, learning puzzles, word building kits, and sight word cards.

My Project

My goal for this project is to increase engagment in reading which will assist with reading success. I am looking to incorporate fun and inviting items to have students work with me, as their teacher, or peers to practice letter names and sounds to build words.

If students are having fun they will begin to love reading.

Their confidence levels will increase and reading will hopefully be something they continue to enjoy in years to come.

The students need good foundational skills such as letter sounds and blending to be successful readers. Students gain this knowledge at different rates. These learning puzzles, word cards, flashcards, flip books, and magnetic phonics tiles that I am requesting would allow for the students to work with peers and get guidance from adults at their own ability level.
