My Students

My students belong to the Dual Immersion program in Utah. This program is a wonderful opportunity to learn a second language in a natural way. They are learning math, social studies and sciences in Spanish. My students are really motivated about learning a new language, but they have to put an extra effort in their daily school duty.

My students are well educated, active and curious.

They enjoy working at school.

I need to motivate them with the reading because we read in Spanish and it is not their mother language, so it is really difficult for them.

My Project

I want to make the reading a common activity that they can do sitting on the floor. The big ball let me to sit down on the floor in a higher position to read them the stories.

Reading in Spanish is really hard for them and I would like to have nice stuff to motivate them.

I addition there are some students who have problems reading in English which make them to refuse to start to read in Spanish.

It would be great to have some cool stuff to motivate them.

Reading is the best way to learn a new language.
