Help me give my students a calm corner to read and journey through their fantastical stories. These pillows, bean bags and books will help foster my students love of reading!

My Students

My students are sweet as can be, and oh so energetic. Going online and in person periodically the last few years has instilled a resilience in them as things in schools continue to change daily. They are smart, are really learning to love reading, and constantly want to move around the room to a quiet nook, carpet time, etc. They truly are inspiring, kind hearted and excited students and I am grateful to work with them daily.

My Project

Covid-19 has effected students all over with extra stressors as the constant changes continue.

I hope that this calm reading nook with exciting books, and comfy seating will help them escape the world and dive deeper into their love of reading.

Students will be able to find a quiet nook in my room whenever they need a calm moment to themselves as part of our social emotional skills. They may simply need a quiet place to read brand new and exciting books that will foster their love of reading even farther and help them grow in the area of reading as they fall in love with books.
