My Project

I love the curiosity, resilience, and unique personalities my elementary students bring to our classroom each day. Many of my students are multilingual learners who are developing confidence as they learn new academic skills and express themselves in English. They thrive in a classroom that feels welcoming, calm, organized, and responsive to their individual needs.

The beanbags and lamps will help create a comfortable learning space where students can read, work independently, and participate in small-group instruction.

Stress balls and other sensory items will give students safe tools to manage anxiety, release excess energy, and remain focused during lessons. Pens and pencils will ensure that every child has the basic supplies needed to participate fully without worrying about whether they came to school prepared.

The laminator will allow me to create durable vocabulary cards, visual supports, learning games, task cards, and reusable instructional materials. These resources will help make lessons more engaging and accessible while supporting language development, self-regulation, independence, and academic success. Together, these items will help me create a classroom where every student feels comfortable, supported, and ready to learn.
