My students need manipulative's for reading and sight words. These items will give us sight words cards for different levels. Sight word journals for using sight words in a sentence. We will also get reading trackers!
My first graders are very energetic and have an incredible love for learning! They are excited about learning and exploring math skills. They come to school each day ready to learn and enjoy small group centers. Many of my students come from low income families. All students receive free breakfast and lunch, and the school has a limited budget for supplies.
My class loves to learn and work.
They enjoy reading and math every day. Some students can get distracted easily in the classroom and love to use fidget toys and items that help them move while learning.
My Project
Literacy centers are the busiest time during our literacy block! Students complete different hands-on activities to engage their mind and body in learning how to read. These Sight Word cards and journals are the perfect center activity for little hands and minds. These items will help my student's stay engaged and focused.
I will also be able to use sight word flash cards in small groups.
We can use our journals to help us create sentences with the sight words we learn. My student's love to read and write everyday. These items will help them to learn and grow everyday in the classroom.
