My Students

My students are a fun and loving group of young individuals. They are full of energy and excitement. They love learning through multiple different medias such as different books, technology, and hands on materials. We have set up a classroom environment where the students know I have high expectations, but the students also have high expectations for themselves. They know that I believe in them every step of the way. My students have learned that it is okay if we fail or make a mistake as long as we keep trying!

My Project

Reading is such a crucial aspect in a child's learning. Having access to different books within the classroom is also so important. Getting students interested in reading books that they love is so important to me. It is my goal to expand my classroom library so that the students in my classroom have more choice in what they are able to read. The students in my class will also be able to read books independently at their level with the addition of these books to my classroom. I have also taken my students interests into consideration when looking at what books to add to our classroom library!
