My Project

My classroom library and student personal home book bags are literacy resources that my students really enjoy. I read on the carpet to them, they read in guided reading groups with me, they buddy read, and they read independently. Every student receives their own home book bags that are treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read to their families.

This project will provide my students with the opportunity to read with their parents each night, work on their reading fluency, comprehension skills, accuracy skills, print concepts, and allow a partnership between home and school.

The books requested in this project will provide kindergartners with high engaging books. These books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. Kindergarten students are curious and love to explore the world through books.
