This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are change-makers! They are driven, passionate dreamers. Our school has a focus on equity, community involvement, and creating future world leaders. I want to ensure my students have access to the tools they will need to activate their learning and engagement. These students deserve resources, and I hope you all will be able to join me in supporting them on their learning journey.

Many students at my school have difficulty in having the tools needed to complete tasks designed for their learning.

These needs are even more pressing due to the current global pandemic. They are truly an incredible and impactful group, and I am thankful to have a new group of scholars who are excited and ready to learn this year!

My Project

These items will ensure my students have access to all the materials they will need to develop as learners and leaders. I want to make sure they can have materials, such as individual copies of books, that they can use both inside and outside of the classroom.

During the lingering effects of the global pandemic, it is more important than ever to ensure students have access to materials to help them develop as learners and leaders.

We want our students to feel seen and heard in the classroom!

These students are CHANGE MAKERS and deserve the materials they need to thrive in the classroom, virtual environment and beyond.
