Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are an eager bunch of learners this year! They come from a variety of backgrounds and households, and they do a fabulous job of coming together to learn each day despite facing challenges at home. I am always looking to provide them with more resources to grow as learners. My readers love to read both online and with paper texts. They are always looking to find new, engaging books during independent reading time. I have a wide range of readers in my classroom, and using book bags will help them stay organized with their books on a weekly basis.
The spring books will also allow them to access new books and keep them excited about reading!
With the combination of the book bags and the new texts, my students will be motivated to keep reading as we approach the end of our first year back in person!
