Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am so lucky to work with amazing students! They are kind, helpful, and creative. They are also always eager to try their best and learn new things.

I want my monolingual Spanish-speaking students to have access to the same resources that all of my students have.

This means I need more books in Spanish so that they have lots of choices to read. I also need more books written in both English and Spanish, so they can begin to learn to read in English.

By choosing fun and engaging books, my students will love reading... in English or en Español!
