I teach at an elementary school with over five hundred students. One hundred percent of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of the students come from diverse backgrounds, and school is the only constant in their day, but that doesn't stop the students from being the best they can be.
Thank you in advance for your generosity toward my students and helping them become successful students.
I want to make sure they have all the supplies they need to be successful in science and social studies.
My Project
My students absolutely love reading non-fiction books. It can be challenging at times to find appropriate non-fiction at their level. The three series that I choose, Who Would Win, Little People, Big Dreams and Who was, are non-fiction books that all my students love.
Learning from the past helps make future leaders.
These books come in handy for me as a teacher as well. If we as a class are working on a report about a place or person, those are my go-to books for my students to get information. The books are written at the students' level and are engaging for them.
These books teach the students so much but more than that they are a student favorite.
