Reading Equals Greatness

Help me give my students more books to read in my classroom. Being a newer teacher I don't have a big book shelf. I would love to provide more books than what I have now.

My Students

I teach 25 fifth graders and 32 sixth graders social studies and writing. They are amazing students from a small town. Most of my students don't use a lot of technology.

My students are happy, motivated learners.

They deserve the best education that they can get. I want to be the teacher that they deserve. My students motivate me to be the best teacher I can be for them.

My Project

I am a big believer in reading in and out of the classroom. Reading is a big part of learning. I want to grow my library so that my students have more books to choose from. Reading helps students in all of their subjects. I believe that this will help my students catch up on the learning that they missed due to the Covid remote learning.

I feel that students need books to help them live though their reading.

At this time reading is the safest activity these students can do. They don't need to fear about catching a virus. They can live a different life though reading.

I have picked books that help with bullying and also with history. I would love to use these books in my classroom not only for education but for fun as well.
