My Pre-K Counts classroom is full of amazing 3-5-year-old children who are eager to learn.

Our classroom consists of a variety of family makeups and learning levels. I believe that every child should have access to learning materials that will engage their minds, broaden their language skills, and keep them inquiring about new information, regardless of the family background or income. The ability to offer additional opportunities and resources will help ensure their academic success now and in the future.

My Project

I would love to have a variety of magna-tiles to put throughout our classroom. The students use the basic magna-tiles that we have on a daily basis and love to explore what they can build with them. By adding additional sets throughout our room I am hoping to encourage the students to explore other centers and how they can create in them. By putting Eric Carle tiles in our library center the students will be able to show the sequence of their favorite stories while building at the same time. The arctic ice tiles will allow them to create habitats for animals during our study of arctic animals and ice/snow.
