My Project

Don't you just love the smiling faces of the little ones reading a story on their own for the first time? Our library is lacking in books for our kindergarten and 1st grade students. We need easy books for them to read on their level. I am asking for these low level picture books for our students to feel successful on their journey to begin reading by themselves.

Reading will help build their fluency, comprehension, and confidence.

Our students also use independent reading as a mental and physical break to relax and get caught up in their books. Thank you for helping our students learn to read!
