My Project

These books will enhance my students' appreciation of and engagement in geography as we study different regions around the world. Most of my students have never traveled outside of our state, let alone outside of our country. Many of these students have a difficult time relating to people, customs, and geographical differences in various regions throughout the world. Reading about life in other countries, through the eyes of someone around their own age, will increase their engagement and desire to further explore what life can be like in far-off parts of the world.
