Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials I am requesting will benefit my students by giving them extra support in reading, writing, and math.

Some of these books will help students start their English language learning journey.

We will use these books as a daily practice to improve reading and writing skills. We will work on the English alphabet and for older students and we will practice improving their paragraph writing skills.

Our classroom is also requesting number counting activities which include an abacus and a dot counting journal. These activities and books will be used daily to help build and improve skills that the students will continue to use outside of school.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
