Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In a kindergarten class with variety of students--including ESE, ESOL and "new comer" students--as we are in 3rd quarter of school year, we need to review, re-teach and practice most of the time in small groups. Reading and Math Intervention helps our little learners be able to read and write during urgent intervention time.

I need a filing cart and paper letter tray to organize different daily activities for small groups and independent for students who are struggling with adding and subtracting, as well as reading and phonological awareness.

Also pen erasers, …fills our class treasures box to get prizes for well behaved students. Using reusable Dry Erase pocket in whole group teaching help students to learn phonics and writing in differentiated instruction time. The math game will help students master addition and subtraction facts and skills.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
